Beate Dahmen
I was born in Düsseldorf in 1960 and I still live and work here as an export clerk. I have a son and two granddaughters. When Barbara Becht told me about her idea at the end of 2016 to found an association that mainly supports women and children in a village in Kenya, I immediately felt addressed. Since the foundation of Chanzo Kenya e.V., I have supported the association in a variety of ways and since May 2019 I am also a member of the board. Together as a team we can achieve a lot. Since my visit to the village of Mwandogo in January 2019, I have been particularly keen to develop a school sponsorship model that we will start with in August 2019. We need your support for this - because only through education can we give people a chance for a better and self-determined life.
